Syngence Corporation Announces New Annual Server Pricing for the Powerful Synthetix Processing Suite (SPS™)
DALLAS, TX and SEATTLE, WA - April 2, 2008 — Syngence Corporation, an industry leader in e-discovery and content analytics solutions, today announced it will offer new annual server pricing for the company's Synthetix Processing Suite (SPS™). The new pricing model empowers users to better manage e-discovery costs while eliminating click fees associated with the use of SPS.
Syngence customers, including law firms, corporations and litigation support companies, will now have the flexibility to choose a pricing model that best suits their needs. Specifically, the new model allows customers to pay an annual subscription fee for unlimited use of the company's integrated SPS software solutions.
"Our customers include large and small law firms, corporations and litigation support companies, each with a unique way of doing business. Having listened to our customers, we realized that the demand for additional pricing flexibility through an annual pricing model was great," stated Randall Miles, the company's chief executive officer. "With this new model, our customers are no longer limited by the constraints of click fees and now have the ability to process data collections of any size behind their own firewalls."
Litigation support companies, law firms and corporate legal departments licensing SPS will have the option, however, to opt for either the new annual server pricing or the standard pay-per-click model, whichever may best fit their needs. Offering flexible pricing and delivery structures reflects a customized approach to meeting the needs of a broad spectrum of customers whose needs and operational configurations are often quite diverse.
Under the new pricing model, customers can license Syndex™ Auto-Coding, a solution included in SPS, as a click-free, stand-alone module for a very attractive licensing fee. Syndex automatically creates abstract document summaries containing author, recipient, date, subject and document type as well as designated key terms.
In addition to Syndex, SPS's integrated set of powerful applications includes the recently released SynthetixND™, which uses a proprietary algorithm to identify and group near duplicates - documents that are similar, but not necessarily identical - that typically exist within large data collections. SPS also includes Synthetix Search®, which compares the linguistic patterns of selected text with every page in a document collection and returns results with ranked relevancy.
