Randall D. Miles

, Chief Executive Officer Randall D. Miles

Miles joined Syngence with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the technology, financial services, general industry and telecommunications sectors. In his most recent position as chairman and chief executive officer of LION Inc., a publicly traded technology company that serves the financial services industry, he helped lead the company to a revenue growth of 130 percent. Miles also led the Seattle office of D.A. Davidson & Co., an investment bank with more than $13 billion of assets under his management.

Ed Horton, Jr.

, Executive Vice President Ed Horton, Jr.

With responsibilities for operations, sales, project management and the reseller channel, Horton has been with Syngence since 2003. He came to the company from Thompson Corporation, where he was awarded sales management executive of the year four times. He was also named Bancroft-Whitney's legal publishing regional sales manager of the year in 1992 and 1993. Horton also served as executive vice president and general manager for Wave Imaging, and vice president of sales and marketing for the MVI Litigation Support Companies.

Doug Matzke, Ph.D.

, Chief Technology Officer Ed Horton, Jr.

Matzke has worked on Syngence technology since 2001, earning government grants and creating new intellectual property and patents related to the core business. He has tested the limits of computing throughout his 30 years in software and hardware development, earning him the recognition of his peers as an IEEE senior member. Along with his bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. in electrical engineering, Matzke has six patents granted, nine patents disclosed and more than 30 papers published.

Geoff Osler

, Vice President of Marketing Geoff Osler

Osler was director of partner marketing for Adobe Systems, Inc., from 2001 until March 2006. Under his leadership, membership in Adobe's worldwide programs grew to more than 10,000 developers, systems integrators and certified training providers. In 2000-01, as the product marketing head of Adobe's Internet Products Group, Osler directed the successful launch of Adobe GoLive 5.0 and Adobe LiveMotion 2.0. Prior to Adobe, Osler founded a successful Internet company in the UK and managed Apple Computer's third-party product business in Poland.

Joseph Howie

, Director of Product Marketing Joseph Howie

Howie joined Syngence in 2003, previously serving as vice president of product development for the Curtis Hill Publishing Company. He also served as in-house counsel for Philips Petroleum Company and was an assistant attorney general for the Ohio Attorney General's Antitrust Section. Howie was also a section editor and contributor to the book, Winning with Computers, Trial Practice in the 21st Century (ABA).
