Development Support Engineer

Syngence, a fully automated document indexing and unique search technology service and software company based in Dallas, TX has an opening for a Development Support Engineer.

We are seeking an individual with software development, support and testing experience. Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and projects; requires flexibility in work schedule and must be a quick learner. Responsible for testing new versions of Syngence application and utility software releases, which includes managing the bug tracking system. Establish and support a test suite of data. Run the test suite as part of the release process; reporting problems to developers. Keep track of releases and what features and bug fixes they contain. Perform and document our release process. Must learn about how our products interact with our integration partners in the Litigation market for testing final functionality. Must have background in System administration to configure and maintain machines, networks and software installation. Maintain backup process and version management. This person must have the background and skills of a system administrator. This person is preferred to have the programming skills in C++ and Java with exposure to Python. Expect minimum 3-5 years experience as outlined above with at least a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Work Status: U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Citizenship Permanent Resident required.
